Launch: Training on Restorative Justice and Dealing with the Past
The first session of the training on Restorative Justice and Dealing with the Past kicked off from September 6, 2020. Given the coronavirus pandemic, the training was held online. The guest of honor for the inaugural session was Professor Tim Chapman, a pioneer of restorative justice and chair of European Forum for Restorative Justice. Professor Chapman shed light on the emergence of restorative justice in a post-conflict Northern Ireland.
The training is going to be held in four sessions (every Sunday) from September 6 to 27, 2020. A total of 20 participants from 11 countries have been selected and confirmed of their particiation at the training. In each session, there will be guests of honor who will share his/her hands-on experiences on dealing with the past and how restorative justice has come handy or can come so.
